Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 September 2026
1. Introduction
These terms govern your use of the Codemere website (codemere.org) and the online courses sold on it. Codemere is operated by TERFIKS LTD, 13 Hawley Crescent, Camden, London NW1 8EZ, United Kingdom, a company registered in England and Wales ("we", "us"). By purchasing a course or using the site you agree to these terms.
2. Products and Services
We sell access to pre-recorded video courses on Python and backend development, organised in modules and sold as licence tiers (Single User, Starter, Intermediate, Pro, Ultra, Ultimate). Depending on the tier, a purchase includes video lessons, downloadable project source code and assets, access to a private Discord community, group code review sessions, and, for the Ultimate tier, four one-to-one mentoring calls.
Access is for the lifetime of the course. Where we re-record or extend a module you have purchased, the updated content is included at no extra cost. Group code review sessions are scheduled by us and delivered live; recordings are made available afterwards. Mentoring calls must be used within two years of purchase.
3. Pricing and Payment
Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include VAT where applicable. Payment is taken once, at checkout, through our payment processor Stripe. We do not store your card details. Access is granted after payment is confirmed, normally within minutes; if you have not received access within 24 hours, contact support with your order ID.
4. Refund Policy
You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase for any reason. The procedure and limits are described in our refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Licence and Intellectual Property
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view the course content and to use the project source code for learning and in your own portfolio. You may not share your account, redistribute, resell, publicly screen or upload the lessons or assets, or remove copyright notices. All course content, including video recordings, scripts, graphics, branding and website design, is the intellectual property of TERFIKS LTD and is protected by copyright law.
6. User Conduct
In the Discord community and on mentoring calls you agree to behave respectfully, not to harass other members, not to post spam or unrelated commercial content, and not to share other members' work without permission. We may remove access to community features, without refund, for serious or repeated breaches.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The course is provided for educational purposes. We do not guarantee any particular outcome, including employment, certification or a specific level of skill. Code shown in lessons is provided as-is for learning and is not warranted fit for any production use without your own review.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
9. Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer in the United Kingdom or European Union, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and equivalent EU consumer law, including the right to digital content that is as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. Nothing in these terms affects those rights. Because access to the course begins immediately, you will be asked at checkout to acknowledge that you lose the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal once delivery starts; our 30-day refund policy applies instead and is more generous.
10. Third-Party Services
Payments are processed by Stripe, the community is hosted on Discord, and fonts are served by Google Fonts. Each is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the availability of these services.
11. Modifications to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. Material changes will be announced on the site and in the Discord community. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers may also bring proceedings in their country of residence where the law allows. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
